Quality Childcare
Supplies
These items are to be supplied by you for your child. All items are to remain at daycare. Blankets and sheets will be washed by me. Soiled clothing will be sent home for washing. Please make sure to switch out spare clothing every season and size as children grow rapidly. All items should be clearly marked with your child's name. It is very difficult to keep track of unmarked items. Especially infant clothing that is usually the same. I am not responsible for lost unmarked items.
It is your responsibility to check with me to see if supplies need to be replenished.
FOR INFANTS:
*A pack n play (at this time, I will supply these as I do have plenty)
*Diapers - 1 full package (I will let you know when supply needs to be replenished.)
*Formula and 3 bottles (these stay at daycare and are washed and prepared by me daily. I will let you know when formula needs to be replenished) Bottles are switched to cups at 1 year of age. Cups are provided at daycare. We use Miracle 360 type cups only.
* Breast milk (thawed in fully prepared bottles ready for warming daily) , 1-2 spare frozen to store in the freezer for emergencies
*Whole milk until your child switches to skim - (you can bring in a gallon weekly)
* Baby food if on solids (you are welcome to send in a weeks worth at a time to save you the trouble of packing daily)
ALL CHILDREN (including infants):
*A complete change of clothing including underwear and socks. Please remember to dress your child in comfortable PLAY clothes and shoes (closed toed sandals or tennis shoes only) 2 sets of spares for infants. Please consider darker colored clothing. White is not recommended. Children get messy. Do not dress children in clothes or shoes that you don't want ruined.
*In the winter months, a hat, coat, mittens and boots are suggested for outdoor play. I also suggest dressing in layers (t-shirt under a sweatshirt etc) as it gets very warm in the house.
*In the summer a swim suit and towel. One tube of sunscreen to be sent per family. One bottle of bug spray to be sent per family at the beginning of the season
*A grubby t-shirt or art smock for craft time. Please mark it with ART.
*You should also provide any other items you wish your child to have with them during the day such as Pacifiers. Pacifiers are only given during nap time. Pacifiers are not given after 15 months of age.

Toys:
I have well organized, age appropriate toys for infants and toddlers/preschoolers. During the initial adjustment phase we encourage your child to bring a special toy or comfort item from home. Photos of family, friends or neighbors and pets can be left with us to remind your child of familiar people if he/she feels upset or lonely during the day. However, please DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD'S TOYS/JEWELRY ETC TO DAYCARE. Even though we encourage sharing, this seldom works when it is a child's personal toy. It can cause problems and disruption between other children in my care. An occasional book may be brought to daycare for story time but does need to be prearranged. Also please NEVER ALLOW CHILDREN TO BRING TOY WEAPONS TO DAYCARE . We have a zero tolerance for violent toys and violent play. Please do not encourage this type of play.
Supplied by Daycare: Wipes, Cots, Sheets, Blankets, Pillows, Swaddles for infants. Cups, spoons, bowls, bibs.
